Old mine

A pleasant and slightly adventurous walk for both children and adults, presented in a clearer and more readable format.

History and walk

A small adventure with a local anecdote

The story says that Johan Sydskogen and Masjorgen once tried their hand at mining here. According to the book about Lillomarka, an Englishman even came to inspect the findings, but the deal never came to anything.

That mix of mystery, local history and a concrete route description is exactly what makes this walk worth taking. At the same time, it is a place where visitors need to stay alert and be careful, since old test pits lie close to the path.

The mine itself is the most striking stop along the walk.
